Know Your Why

nature-bird-flying-red

Why do you get out of bed in the morning? Have you ever truly asked yourself that question. How would you answer it? Some may say they get up because they have to work. Some may say I have kids that need me. Some may say that they feel they have wasted the day if they don’t. Some do not get up in the morning at all. Whatever your reasoning, I can say that we all make the choice to rise up and begin our day for something or someone.

Now, what happens if we are more specific and detailed about our why? Why do I get up in the morning? Why do I work at my current job? Why do I live where I do? Why do I want to evolve? That higher level of awareness could bring more clarity and purpose to what we do in our day to day life. If it turns out that you are not sure why you do things, maybe asking yourself can realign you with your purpose. For example, if you want to become enlightened but do not know why, that may be your block. Knowing why you want to evolve may just provide you the clarity or spark you need to push you forward. It may even help you develop the patience needed for this marathon of a journey that many try to make a sprint. Find your why.
